Chapter Dues Structure
Effective March 1, 2003

   Our local chapter retains no National dues revenue. All dues are forwarded to the National Office of the American Culinary Federation. Our activities are funded by generous sponsorships and fundraising activities.

ACF Membership Levels
The following are the descriptions of ACF Membership Levels. [top]

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
An ACTIVE Member shall be a culinarian of or present professional chefs, cooks, and baker's engaged in the planning, preparation, service and supervision of foods, pastries and beverages, in commercial kitchens, hotels, clubs, restaurants, institutions, schools, as well as serving as culinary research and development consultants, experimental chefs, food directors and culinary educators with more than three years of full-time industry work experience.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
A JUNIOR Member shall have a lifetime limit of four years. A culinarian as detailed above with three or fewer years of full-rime industry work experience or a student enrolled in an accredited post secondary culinary education program or an ACF-registered apprentice as defined by the ACF Apprenticeship Training Program.

JUNIOR CULINARIAN MEMBERSHIP
A JUNIOR CULINARIAN Member shall be a student of an ACF ACCESS vocational program and shall be between the ages of sixteen and eighteen and also be enrolled in high school.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
A ASSOCIATE Member shall be a person representing a group, company or corporation providing products and/or services to the culinary profession or a person that wishes to support and promotes the culinary profession.

ALLIED MEMBERSHIP
A ALLIED Member shall be a person employed in fields related to the culinary profession. Such as but not limited to dietetics, home economics, food stylish etc. who does not qualify as an Active, Junior or Associate member.

SENIOR MEMBERSHIP
A SENIOR Member shall be any category of member who has reached the age of sixty-two and has retired from gainful employment who has been a member in good standing of the ACF for ten years or more, or any category of member who has been declared permanently and totally disabled may apply regardless of age provided that they were a member in good standing for two or more years.
